いつまでも、メッセンジャーバッグやディパックで移動するのはつらい。とくに重いものを背負っての移動は負担、お尻も痛くなる。そこで、フロントバッグとリアキャリアを検討することに。
リアキャリアは純正の、Newフレーム専用（ロゴエンボス加工しているBD-1のみ取付可能）がスタイル的にもマッチしていると思う。折り畳みにも対応しているし､スタンド代わりにもなるようだ。スタンドになる必要性はあまりなさそうだが・・・

The expedition luggage carrier could loaded with till 15 kilo of luggage. It is fixed on the rear swing-arm and due to itｴs joints automatically if the Birdy is folded. The expedition luggage carrier is fitted with synthetic wheels on the back, so the folded Birdy could pulled. Since 2003 all Birdys could equipped with the expedition luggage carrier (weight: 850 gram).
